Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
HireVisible ("we", "us", "our") operates hirevisible.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address. You may optionally provide your first name and company name in your profile settings.
Content inputs: Job descriptions, public job-posting URLs, company names, job titles, industries, locations, and related instructions you submit for analysis, rewriting, comparison, or content generation. This information is processed to provide the Service and is not used by us to train AI models.
Generated content: The posts and ideas generated during your sessions, which we store as drafts on your behalf.
Usage data: How many generations you've run, which features you use, and when you use the Service. We use this to enforce plan limits and improve the product.
Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number or bank details. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Technical data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is retained for up to 90 days.
Candidate and sensitive data: The Service is not designed to process resumes, applications, candidate profiles, protected characteristics, health information, or other sensitive candidate data. Do not submit that information to the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Analyze and improve job descriptions and generate recruiting content
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Enforce usage limits based on your plan
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
- Respond to support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Improve the Service based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content inputs to train AI models.
4. AI Processing
Content you submit for analysis, rewriting, comparison, or generation is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the requested results. Anthropic processes this data under its API terms and privacy commitments. We do not share your account credentials with Anthropic, only the content inputs needed to provide the requested result.
Stock image searches are processed via Pexels and Pixabay APIs, which have their own privacy policies.
AI-assisted support: When you email support@hirevisible.com, your message may be processed by Anthropic's Claude API to classify it and draft an initial reply, which is clearly labeled as AI-assisted. A human reviews support conversations, and you can always request a human response by replying to any message.
5. Data Sharing
We share your information only with:
- Supabase - database and authentication provider
- Stripe - payment processing
- Anthropic - AI content generation and AI-assisted support replies (content inputs and support emails only)
- Pexels / Pixabay - stock image search (search queries only)
- Vercel - hosting and infrastructure
- Resend - transactional email delivery (your email address and email content)
- SendGrid - inbound support email processing (emails you send to our support address)
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) - only when you connect your account, to publish content on your behalf; and, only if you accept advertising cookies, our use of the Meta pixel described in Section 9
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of HireVisible or its users.
6. Candidate Data and Automated Decisions
HireVisible does not screen, rank, evaluate, recommend, or select candidates and does not make employment decisions. We do not request candidate resumes, applications, profiles, protected characteristics, or other candidate records.
If you include personal information in content you submit, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process and share it and for complying with applicable employment and privacy laws.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Saved drafts are kept indefinitely unless you delete them. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for billing and abuse-prevention purposes.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security in our database, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure - if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@hirevisible.com.
9. Cookies and Advertising Pixels
Essential cookies: We use cookies for authentication (to keep you logged in) and to store session preferences. These are required for the Service to work and cannot be turned off. Clearing them in your browser settings will log you out.
Advertising (optional, consent-based): With your consent, we use the Meta pixel on our marketing pages to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. The pixel loads only if you click Accept in our cookie banner; if you decline, no advertising tracking occurs. Data collected by the pixel is processed by Meta Platforms under their own privacy policy.

10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
To exercise these rights, email support@hirevisible.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
11. California Privacy Notice
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories described in Section 2 from users, their devices and browsers, payment and authentication providers, and information users choose to submit. We use and disclose those categories for the business purposes described in Sections 3 through 5.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing and securing the Service.
Where California law applies, California residents may request access, correction, or deletion and may not be discriminated against for exercising their privacy rights. Submit a request through support@hirevisible.com.
12. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
13. International Transfers
Our infrastructure is primarily based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US and other locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. The "Effective" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
